Job Description:​

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and leverage BI tools and technologies to deliver insights that drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and data sources to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  • Design and develop data models to support reporting and analytics needs.

  • Create interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, QlikView.

  • Customize report layouts and visuals to effectively communicate insights and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Implement advanced features such as drill-downs, filters, and dynamic parameters to enhance user interactivity.

  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer business questions and uncover insights.

  • Develop predictive models and forecasting algorithms to support strategic planning and decision-making.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, including data refresh schedules and query performance.

  • Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

Requirements: ​

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years' experience as a BI Developer or similar role.

  • Proficiency in at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools - Advantage
